Explanation of Restricted Courses
A restricted course is a course that is only offered to students who are enrolled at the home college who is teaching the course. The instructor and students are all from the same college.
When you log into your online course and go to your home page, you will be able see if you are in a restricted course. All restricted courses are listed under your college's name. See example below that show a non-restricted course and two restricted courses:

If you are enrolled in a restricted course, you will access your online course through the same website, www.iowacconline.com , and receive an informational email that will have your login ID and password.
Start Date
It is important to ask your home college the start date of your restricted online course. Some restricted courses will start at a different time than a non-restricted online course.
Textbooks
Please contact your home college's Bookstore for textbook information. Textbook information will NOT be found on ICCOC website.
Course Syllabus
If you need a course syllabus prior to class starting, please contact the instructor or the Academic Dean's office at your home college. Course syllabus information will NOT be found in the online catalog at www.iowacconline.com.
ICCOC Course Catalog
Restricted online course description and course syllabus will not be found in the ICCOC course Catalog. This information can be found in your home college's course catalog.
