The ICCOC offers two 8-week accelerated sessions during the fall and spring terms.  Beginning in 2010, it will also offer one 8-week accelerated session during the summer.  A complete list of courses offered during these sessions can be found in the ICCOC Catalog.

It is very important to remember that 8-week courses are accelerated and instructors will cover sixteen weeks of course material in just eight weeks.  We highly recommend students either choose the 8-week accelerated track or the 16-week track during the fall and spring terms, but not both.  Please take a moment to read through our recommended guidelines for students considering the 8-week accelerated track.

Advice from an Advisor

• Students are advised to register for only one or two accelerated courses per session.

• Students who work 40+ hours are advised to register
  for only one accelerated course per session.

• Students who enroll in the 8-week accelerated track
  are strongly advised not to take courses during the
  16-week track.  This is to avoid an overwhelming
  course load.

• Students need to have their textbooks by first day
  of the session.  Instructors will have assignments
  due the first week.

• Students need to log into their course on the session
  start date to avoid falling behind.  It is very difficult
  to catch up in an accelerated course.
