Faculty Training Standards

The ICCOC is dedicated to delivering quality online education to students and believes the first step to accomplishing this is in faculty training.
Below are some requirements that will help faculty
prepare to teach in the online environment.

  1. All new instructors will be required to complete the online course titled, " ID2002eCollege AU Tutorial"
       This course covers the following:
            - Computer Literacy
            - eCollege System
            - Instructional Design Strategies
            - Multimedia Applications
    * Note - This course is accessed on your eCollege homepage at www.iowacconline.com. 
  1. All new instructors will be required to contact the ICCOC faculty trainer, Gretchen Bartelson to discuss your online course.  Gretchen will provide important information in reference to teaching online, explain resources that are available and answer any questions you may have.  Gretchen's contact information is:
