- Meets originating institutions standards for quality of instruction
- Meets originating institutions standards for assessment of student learning

Standards for Faculty Preparation (Originating College)
- Completes ID2000e Teaching Solutions Online Course
- Computer Literacy
- eCollege System
- Instructional Design Strategies
- Multimedia Applications
- Discussion with ICCOC Faculty Trainer

Standards for Technical Support (eCollege)
- 24-hour eCollege help desk (phone & e-mail support)
- Telephone feedback is 4 hours or less
- e-mail feedback is 24 hours or less

Standards for Communication with Students (Steve Rheinschmidt)
- e-mail verification sent to all students once a semester
- Weekly messages before course start date
- Subjects: Orientation course, Textbooks, Correct e-mail address, Syllabi info
- Bi-weekly messages after course begins
- Subjects: Library resources, Participation, Technical help resources, FAQ

Standards for Student Services Departments
- Provide student services information for online students on ICCOC’s Web site.
- Admissions, /advising, Financial Aid, Registration, Proctoring Contacts, etc…

Standards for Evaluation of ICCOC
- Two surveys will be completed by online students each semester (Precourse/End of Course)
- One withdrawal survey will be completed each semester
- One instructor survey will be completed each semester
- Consortium will analyze results for the purpose of continuous improvement.
