ICCOC provides online tutoring services for our online students through SMARTHINKING.  Students access this service through their online course.

Students may utilize this service in all formats of online teaching - eCourse, Hybrid, and eCompanion.

 

 

Note: Students do NOT need an additional username or password to access Smarthinking.

 

SMARTHINKING is a live, online, personalized learning assistance for students in:

Math:  Basic Math Skills, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Statistics, Bi-lingual Math

Science:  Biology, General Chemistry, Physics, Introductory Human A & P

Writing:

Other:  Accounting, Economics, Introductory Finance and Spanish

Advanced Subjects:  Organic Chemistry, Mathematics Beyond Calculus II and Advanced Statistics

This service is available from anywhere and at anytime. All a student would need is access to the internet and they can: 

• connect with an e-structor and interact with a live tutor,
• submit a writing assignment for any of their classes to one of the essay centers,
• submit a question and receive a response within 24 hours,
• utilize the academic resources provided to look for answers to their questions before engaging a tutor, or
• schedule a personal session with a tutor.
