Applying for Financial Aid

If you will need financial assistance to pay for your online courses, you need to start the process of applying for federal aid, state aid and even institutional scholarships several weeks or months before the term in which you are enrolled begins.

Go to Paying for Online Classes for more information, visit your college's website or talk with the Financial Aid Office at your college.

Remember, you must be degree-seeking at a college to receive most forms of financial assistance.

Select a Partner College

The Consortium is comprised of seven partner colleges.  As an online student you must first select one of the partner colleges as your home college.

Many factors may influence your selection of a college, such as proximity to where you live, affiliation/familiarity, or programs/courses offered.

Complete an Application for Admission

Next, you must complete an Application for Admission.

All of our partner colleges offer an online application.

Application for Admission:

Notification

Finally, your application will be reviewed and processed by your home college.  Be sure to send any required documents requested in the Application or by your college to avoid delays in processing your application.

The college will notify you by email, phone or letter of your admissions status;  they will also provide information about their registration procedures.  If you have any questions about your application, status or the enrollment process, please contact your college.

Take Note

Do you know that tuition is the

same for ICCOC online courses

at each of our partner colleges?

If you are only taking a course to

transfer back to the college

or university where you will be

receiving a degree,

be sure to indicate

that you are a

"visiting" or "non-degree seeking"

student on your

Admissions Application.

Each consortium

college offers

programs that

can be

completed

either

entirely

or partially

online.
